RTHC - Ride to Hadley Court

Some time in May (possibly the Friday before the last Bank Holiday), I am organising RTHC (Run to Headley Court) with the Berkshire RBLR guys and you would all be welcome to join us.

It has to be a weekday because those patients fit enough to go home at weekends do so & it is better for us all if there are some people there when we turn up lol.

The idea was originally called The Courage Run but the brewery blocked that idea so we renamed it Run to Headley Court.

The plan is to ride out from Reading to Headley Court in Surrey and deliver some "cheer" to the boys and girls recouperating there following injury in active service.

Heineken UK have donated 10 cases of beer for us to deliver and I am scrounging anything else I can get my hands on from books to bike mags to donate to Headley Court and give the boys and girls there some support.

We want to show off our bikes to everyone there and shake a lot of hands to thank people for their service to our country.

The BBC have agreed in principle to film the ride and the meet and greet at Headley Court so it will be on the news in the south and possibly nationally depending on the rest of the news that day.
